ASTANA – Kazakhstan exported 8.7 million tons of new crop grain from September 2024 to June 18, 2025, which is 58.7% more compared to the same period in 2023-2024, the Ministry of Agriculture reported on June 20, citing data from Kazakhstan Temir Zholy national railway operator.
ASTANA – A new industrial zone has been launched in the Akmola Region with an expected investment volume exceeding 1.1 trillion tenge (US$2.4 billion). The area aims to become a key hub for domestic and international production and logistics near the capital, the Prime Minister’s press service reported on June 20.
ASTANA – Kazakhstan is actively developing its hydrogen energy sector with the support of international partners, including China and Germany, and is exploring the potential to export hydrogen to the European Union. Deputy Minister of Energy Ilyas Bakytzhan outlined the country’s hydrogen roadmap during a June 23 session in the Mazhilis, highlighting progress on infrastructure, pilot projects, and international cooperation.
